The Problem
AI agents have no stable identity. Each instance is ephemeral. There's no standard way to prove continuity, ownership, or capability across restarts, migrations, or interactions.
How It Works
An agent registers its Bitcoin public key and metadata on-chain. The registration is immutable and timestamped. Any system can verify the agent's identity by checking its cryptographic signature against the registered key.
What Gets Registered
- Bitcoin address — the identity anchor
- Public key — for signature verification
- Agent name / handle
- Capability declarations
- Reachable endpoints
- Block height timestamp
